Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. Loving and valuing everyone is an essential element of Christian behaviour and is at the heart of life at our school.
St Andrew's C of E school is a place where we can learn to love God, one another and ourselves.
This is achieved through collective worship, religious education and the application of Christian values within and beyond the school.
Through these Christian values of Respect, Trust, Peace, Cooperation, Responsibility, Courage, Love, Happiness, Understanding, Humility, Resilience, Thoughtfulness, Patience, Determination, Caring, Thankfulness, Forgiveness, Equality and Excellence we engage children in learning that helps them be respectful of others and be aware of their feelings, emotions and beliefs.
We also aim to help pupils understand the role of British values in society. These values of: Democracy, Rule of Law, Individual Liberty and Respect and Tolerance of those with different faiths are taught overtly through our curriculum and across all other aspects of school life.
